Working together to support the Wallerawang and Lidsdale community
Promoting progress through events, advocacy, and connection.
About Us
The Wallerawang Lidsdale Progress Association (WLPA) is a volunteer run, not for profit group dedicated to working for our community.
We bring people together, advocate for local priorities, and create opportunities for connection, celebration, and improvement. Our work spans everything from organising community events such as Australia Day, Anzac Day, and the New Years Eve Fireworks at Lake Wallace, to championing upgrades to parks, playgrounds, and public facilities.
We work alongside residents, local businesses, community groups, and government to deliver projects that build pride and strengthen our sense of belonging.
Whether you are a lifelong local, a new arrival, or simply someone who cares about our towns, you are invited to join us in shaping the future of Wallerawang, Lidsdale, and the broader Lithgow region.
Together, we can keep our community vibrant, inclusive, and connected.
